I got tagged by my friend Sarah and I'm supposed to post 5 random facts about myself. Sorry that it took me forever to do but here we go:
1. I had IUI's (Intra-Uterine Insemination) to get pregnant with both of my girls. We tried for a year and a half before we did the IUI and were successful. That might not seem like that long but it seemed like forever to me. It was a very frustrating, sad and painful time especially when I saw numerous people around me getting pregnant very, very easily. It was a monthly disappointment and I couldn't figure out why Heavenly Father wouldn't let me be a mother. That's all I wanted to be and it was so hard that I even skipped church on Mother's day one year because I didn't want to look at all the happy mothers with cute little babies. Now that I am passed all that, I now feel that I was supposed to go through that so that I can help others that may have the same problem and to let them know that they aren't the only ones. I also feel that it wasn't the right time to have my baby until I had her. It was absolutely the perfect time and it would have made life a lot easier if I would have just had faith and known that it would happen when it was supposed to.
2. Ok, now onto some not so heavy stuff. I used to work at Pizza Hut right after I graduated High School. But only delivering!!! I wouldn't have been able to just work the inside. It was actually a really good part time job while going through school. I made decent money and I got to just drive around all night. I would listen to talk shows on the radio and I even studied for my anatomy tests for massage. I made my own flash cards and I would look at them at a red light and repeat them to myself while I drove. I multi tasked nicely and it worked because I got an A+ on a very hard exam;) Oh, and make sure you tip at least two bucks to your delivery driver or go pick it up!!!Ü I also can't eat Pizza Hut anymore;)
3. I had a dream about my husband before we started dating. We've known each other since the 7th grade but I had only seen him once or twice after we graduated and this was like 5 years after. So it was quite odd for me to have a dream about him out of the blue. All morning I had this very strong feeling that I was supposed to call him but didn't want to because it had been so long. I finally gave in and called and GOT HIS ANSWERING MACHINE!!! I actually left a message and he called me back and the rest is history!!!
4. I have this huge fear of fire. I think it might be because our dryer caught fire when I was little and it has made me a little crazy about making sure that things are off. I will NEVER leave the house with the dryer on and I have to scan the house before I leave to make sure I have everything off. I will ask my husband if I turned something off and if I'm not sure, I will turn back around and check just in case. (Even if I'm almost to my destination) I know it's crazy but hopefully it makes my home safer.
5. I had two very easy labors and deliveries. My water broke with my first one and labor only lasted 6 hours with about 15 minutes of pushing. And my second one only lasted 5 hours without a lot of pushing either. I'm hoping that it decreases with each baby and my next will only last 4 hours!! Don't hate me!!!
I tag Jessica, Malissa and Tabatha;)

Bravo to you for being a delivery girl. I would be a big chicken. Even better for acing that test! My labors were long with #1, less than 7 hours with #2 and #3, and I jinxed myself thinking #4 would slide out. His was the worst of all. They were gonna do a c-section if I didn't deliver him within 15 minutes. I had been in labor for 11 hours at that point. So, I said a prayer, told them to turn of my epidural, and I pushed him out quick. It was crazy, I felt every inch of him deliver. It was an amazing feeling, in a painful way. If I ever have another, I am gonna try for a natural childbirth.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Cool story about you and your hubby. Very sweet!
That was fun to read. You are the second person that has tagged me and I am having such a hard time coming up things to type. Hopefully I will get to it soon.
I know I wasn't tagged but it's fun to read your comments. You're right, I know the Lord has a hand in when we get our babies....everyone of mine were a blessing---in fact, Travis was our Miracle Baby....You're a great MOM and such beautiful little girls! Course, we're a little biased, I guess. Thank you for calling Travis and getting together. You were meant for each other!---those little girls had you picked!---(lol)
