~Some idiot that was driving in front of me went to turn left and as he did so, came back out into my lane. Why do people do that?? It drives me nuts.
~People standing in the middle of the isles and when I try to get around them, that is when they start to go and wonder why you are in THEIR way!
~Never enough cashiers open.
~Stupid cashier making me show her exactly which ad I saw my deals in!
~Same stupid cashier thinking that she had to put every last single one of my groceries in my recycling bags! I am ok if you have to use a couple plastic bags. Put as much as you can in those and then put the rest in the other bags! You don't have to smash my bread and other groceries just to fit it all in!!!
~~Oh, and an extra one.....the stupid toy machine took Makenna's change without letting her play!

Some pics from my phone:)
I was just reminded of a photo I took on my phone awhile ago while at the park. Jordyn had some crazy hair and I just had to take a pic. Thankfully my sis e-mailed it to me because I can't get them off my phone otherwise. She is such a cutie!! And she is also doing better. I took her to the docs again today and she said she was doing a million times better. She is still hacking like crazy but she is moving air better and she looks better than she did two days ago. For some weird reason though, she is a lot more clingy today than she had been the last two days. She wouldn't let me out of her sight...not even to pee:) And I guess she was closer to going to the hospital than I thought. The doc said she almost sent us! It's a good thing that Jordyn has gotten used to the breathing treatments and sits without too much of a fuss.
Crazy hair!!
And this is my wild Kenna back in July at Pioneer Days. I am on the Activities committee and we were in charge of the water rides so she got to ride as many times as she wanted to. That's the perk for having to work them, right??? She had such a great time!!

Pathetic little baby girl!
Miss Jordyn is sick and it came on awful fast! She was barely coughing one day and by that night she was rattling and breathing hard. I decided to just call in to work and take my little one to the doctor the very next day. I'm so glad I did. The doctor said she has bronchitis that is on the verge of pneumonia!! Um....what?? She just barely started showing signs of being sick at all. Crazy! So they gave her a breathing treatment right there because she wasn't moving air very well. We've never done that before but it helped a lot so she sent us home with one of the machines and prescriptions for that and a couple more medicines. I also have to take her back two days later. Even the front desk was like, huh? Two weeks? No, two days! That is scary!
Here is the counter full of medicines that Jordyn doesn't really like taking either.
Jordyn getting a breathing treatment last night. The mask is like a cute fish:)
Big sister wanting to help.
Do I really have to do this???
We have to make sure we have something on tv for her. Even with her shows, she tries to escape from me but she's getting better with it today because she knows she just has to do it. And yes, those are her Santa jammies. She demanded her Santa jammies.
She even wanted to hold it on her own after awhile! :)
She hasn't been napping well because her hacking will wake her up so I thought she would go down well last night after her treatment. Wrong!! Well, she did good for like an hour but then she just wanted me to hold her. Even though she falls asleep within a minute of me holding her, she still won't let me put her down. I tried laying on the recliner with her but she kept rolling back and forth over my big belly and it hurt so bad. I also kept worrying that she would fall off if I fell asleep and didn't catch her. So, bad mommy that I am, I finally put her back in her crib. I had to or I wouldn't have gotten a wink of sleep and then wouldn't have been able to take care of her today. I felt so horrible as she cried and then hacked and then cried and hacked but it didn't take her long before she fell asleep. I was so relieved.

Interesting appointment!
I had a check up this morning starting with my glucose test! I drank my yummy drink and then left to drop off the kids at my moms and off to my appointment. I got there pretty early just to make sure I got there on time. I didn't want to drink that stuff again! I felt really good until the lady starting taking my blood. I normally don't have any problems when I get my blood drawn but it felt like she was draining it right from my face. I felt fine....just a little light headed. They put me in a room right away and I was thought I was going to get out of there really quick! Nope! I sat in there for 25 minutes! I just took advantage and laid down and tried to feel better. I heard him talking outside and it sounded like he was trying to get a lady in to the hospital that had a big mass in her breast! That is more important. I will wait. When he finally came in, I told him that my pain 'down there' was worse. I keep telling people it's my pelvis but recently it feels more like where my episiotomies are. I know that it's too early for his head to be down there but that is what it feels like. That his head is pressing as hard as it can against that. I also told him that I'm having tons of braxton hicks contractions especially when I'm massaging. It's like I am massaging with a rock in my belly! He decided to check me which I wasn't prepared for but glad he did! He said I have a HUGE varicose vein right there that looks all pink and sore. Isn't that lovely!! I figured there isn't anything he can do about it but at least I know it's not my imagination or that I'm just a bigger wimp than others. He had told me at my last appointment that it just hurts more with every pregnancy and I guess mine hurts ALOT more! Fortunately he can do something for it after I deliver. He also checked my dilation to make sure the braxtons aren't doing much. I am already at a fingertip and soft!! That's not much but it seems like it for only being 27 weeks! My doc doesn't seem to be worried about it though so hopefully it just means I will go quick when the time comes:) He said he would be worried if it was my first but not with my third. I am also scheduled for another ultrasound on my next appointment to check the cyst on my placenta to make sure it hasn't grown. So I get to see my little man again! Yay! Anyway, that's about it! I guess I now know why I'm so miserable and waddling after I go to work. Hmm.....is it time to quit??? :-)

Play day in the snow!
We have had so much rain this week! It's been crazy. We got more rain this week than we did in all of 2009! Now that is a lot of rain for a few days! And when it rains at home, it snows up in the mountains. There was so much snow and it was so beautiful!! I really wanted to take the kiddos up to let them play in it (not sure if either one has ever played in it....pretty sure Jordyn hasn't) so I talked Travis into taking us:) We didn't tell them where we were going and ironically as soon as we left, Jordyn looked at the mountains and said, "wow, look at the snow!!"
This is the view driving up to the Mt. Charleston! It is so pretty with the snow all the way down.
There were so many people that had the same idea! I figured it would be busy but thought that we would be able to find a place lower than everyone else. This was not the case! The few side areas were completely taken so I was hoping that the parking lot at the hotel would be a good spot to go. Not!! There weren't that many spots that weren't completely covered in snow and the other ones were all taken. There was so much snow, it was crazy. There was a car that was so covered that all you can see was the headlights! So we tried to go up a little further but it just got even more crazier up there. We decided to turn around and hope that we could find a place to stop. By this time, Makenna and Jordyn were whining about wanting to play in the snow. Jordyn even got all hissy and folded her arms! It was too funny. I was really starting to get nervous because the snow drifts on the sides of the road were getting deeper and deeper. I was just hoping that there would be a place to turn around. We found a spot and headed back down the hill. Fortunately, we found an open spot on the side of the road that had an empty spot behind it. And then my parents were driving by right as we were getting out of the car so they got to get that spot before someone else did!! It was great. There were no hills or anything but it was snow and it was something the kids could play in:)
Makenna was so excited!! She wanted to just hop right in! It was so deep and so soft that you just sunk right in.
Jordyn was so excited to get out in it in the car but wasn't so sure when we got out. I so love this pic!!!
You can just see the joy in Makenna's face!!
Jordyn finally tried the snow for herself. She still wasn't too sure though!
I wasn't so sure about going out in it since it was so soft and I'm not so stable anymore:) But I climbed over the little hill and it wasn't so bad if you stomped out a little path so you didn't sink! This leather jacket is pretty big so I was quite surprised to find out that I couldn't even come close to zipping it. So I just tied the strap around me so it would stay semi closed:)
All the way up to the knees!! Every time I'm around snow, I'm glad I don't live in it. We saw some houses that had snow half way up the door!! And of course those cars!! Crazy.
Makenna decided to throw a snow ball at me!
So I got her back:)
I actually like this pic:) I guess snow is a good background for me!
Makenna about to throw a snow ball at the camera man (aka Daddy:)
Found some crackage!! :)
Uh oh!! Snow in the face!!
That didn't make her very happy!!
Pretty girl!
Handsome hubby!
Getting a little taste!
Once Papa wore a good path for us, Jordyn had a great time walking back and forth, back and forth!
She even strayed off the path a little.
Their cousins came to play too and brought sleds. They were both excited to get on!
But then they went overboard and they were both done!! Makenna was so frozen by that point that it hurt!! She was not happy until I got her out of her very wet clothes and into some warm sweats!! Thankfully Grandma and Papa brought lunchables and they were happy campers on the way home with those, their blankets and a movie!!

Hearts!!
My good friend Sarah posted how to make these cute hearts on her blog! They are so easy and so cute to hang up for Valentine's Day! Makenna kept asking me why we were cutting up her crayons:) I kept telling her that she will see but she still wasn't sure until the finished product:)
I thought they turned out super cute!

Staying warm!
I got dressed into my work clothes today and I am literally popping out of them. I have my pants completely unbuttoned and only held up by the string tied around my waist! Along with my pants, my shirt is getting squeezed as far as it will go:) I almost feel like the Hulk and all I have to do is stretch out my arms and all the buttons on my shirt will go flying!! I drive to work and walk forever from the parking garage and waddle up the three flights of stairs. By the time I get to the spa, I'm out of breath. I have to do a couple therapeutic massages which pretty much makes me bend over the whole time. My back almost spasms quite a few times and so does my butt when I bend over to pick something up. I walk out to my car when my shift is over and realize that the one spot that I picked to park in is covered in water!! It started raining really hard while I was working and all of that rain drained right to where my van was. It looked like it was wading in a river. There was no other choice but to walk right through it to get to my car. I drive home with wet, cold feet in the still raining weather and pray that no idiots hit me with their idiotic driving skills. I really thought someone was going to ram someone in the butt right to the left of me. He just missed him by cutting me off to go around the guy without lifting off of the gas. I just keep both hands on the wheel. I finally get home. Cold. Wet. Tired. All I want to do is take a hot shower and curl up in a blanket. I walk in the door and get the biggest welcome home from my girls. They are thrilled that I am home. They are happy to see me. They are so excited that I am home. All of a sudden, I am warm:)

Jordyn's audition tape for American Idol:)
So, if you can't tell, she is singing the last verse of "Teach me to Walk in the Light", then "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", "Love is Spoken Here" and then just a touch of "Goodnight Sweetheart". These are all songs we sing to her at night and she loves to just break out into song all the time!! She's so dang adorable!!

My epiphany
I have been thinking and worrying about going back to work after I give birth ever since I found out I was pregnant. I was off for quite some time with my first two and was looking at having to go back to work rather quickly after having this one. I was not too happy about it. With Makenna, I had been working full time for six and a half years and was so ready to be done for awhile. I had done so many massages over that time that I had to take leave about three months before she was born because I ended up with pregnancy carpal tunnel. To me it was a sign. A sign to take some time off to be with my first born. After about a year, I went back to work. I looked back into the Hilton because I knew the manager there and knew that she would work with me and my schedule. She didn't make me work weekends and it was nice to just work part time. Personally every massage therapist should have no more than five hours of massage a day. But that's just my opinion:) Anyway, I worked until about two months before I gave birth to Jordyn. Since I was only part time, I figured it was no biggie to be off for awhile. It was around our normal slow time and didn't think they needed me anyways. I told my boss to just call me when they got busy. Well, I called her when I was ready to come back and she had laid me off before I had even had the baby. I had no idea. I still had my badge and work clothes!! She never told me so I had to apply and drug test all over again!! I was pissed but she took me right back in so whatever. The problem this time is that the economy has tanked since my last baby. I don't know if I will have a job to go back to when I'm ready to come back. I don't know if upper management will eliminate the position entirely before I come back. I just felt that I had to hang on to it! So I was consumed in trying to get as much time off after the baby as possible. I figured that the max I could get was 12 weeks since that is what full time workers get. Well, come to find out that there are NO rights for part time workers!! None!! Nothing is written about part timers. It is up to the discretion of your employer. So I sat down with my boss and she said some bull crap about not being able to have employees on that aren't active!! So, I'm like....what??? She was going to give me like a month!! So I went down to HR and she pretty much told me that I could have the whole 12 weeks off. It was up to my boss and she should know that. Blah blah blah....I just went up and told my boss that I could have 12 weeks. So now that I have 12 weeks, I have to work all the way up until I have this baby. I was determined!! I told myself that I was going to have as much time as possible with my baby afterwards and I wasn't going to waste time at home prego!! Well.....those thoughts were when I was newly prego!! I kept telling myself that I just had to do it and all the while my body keeps getting more stiff and sore as I massage. I'm already having pelvic pain real bad when I stand for long periods and that is what I do all night....is stand and use up a ton of energy!! By the end of the night, I'm hurting pretty bad! And I still have three months to go!! I was really starting to worry about it. I thought I was going to be better off with this one because I wasn't prego in the summer and could go walking and stay in better shape! But when I go walking, it makes my pelvic pain even worse! I just kept telling myself that I just had to do it. Well, last week I had a very emotional day! I sometimes get very weepy with this pregnancy. I can cry at the drop of a hat and I was crying all day. I got to work and I still was tearing up. I started my massage and it was just a really good massage. Some massages just go really smooth and I started thinking to myself....."hey!! you are a good massage therapist!! Why in the world are you so tied down with the Hilton!! Why are you so scared of change that you will try to work while absolutely miserable and then go back to work when you baby is so little when you really really don't want to!! Just because you feel so tied to the Hilton!! You are a great massage therapist with tons of experience and other spas would be lucky to have you!!" After my pep talk with myself, I instantly felt a calm come over me! It was amazing. My weepy, crying self became really calm and I KNEW that what I was saying to myself was not crazy. I made the decision right then that I will just work until I can't anymore and then be done for awhile. I will take some time off and when I'm ready I will go back to work. If it happens to be the Hilton, then it's the Hilton. If it's not, then it's time for a change. I think my path is supposed to go a different route right now anyway. Travis confirmed this for me when he told me I should just go until I can't anymore a couple weeks prior! I knew that when I talked to him that night, that he would be ok with it too. We are trying to get our mortgage lowered right now so hopefully if that works out, we will be in a much better position! Whichever way our path is supposed to go, I know that this is what I'm supposed to do. I just had to think of it first!! I just had that other route in my head and wasn't even considering another option. And now that I have, I have PEACE and it is right!!!

Disneyland Day 2
Day two at Disneyland started off with a very long line of cars going into the parking lot. We had decided to not take the bus because it was so crowded and thought it would be easier with our stroller and all our crap. It was easier but it was just busy!! The first parking lot that we had parked at the first day was full right before we got there so we had to go back towards Downtown Disney. I had never been back there and thought we were going to have to walk forever to get inside. Fortunately we found the monorail not too far from the car and just hopped on that to get into the park. The best part was that they checked our tickets and whatnot irght there before getting on so we didn't have to wait in a long line to get in.
Makenna was super excited to get on this 'train'!! She got to sit in the very front with Grandma and Papa and the driver told them that she was the most well behaved little girl!! Yay Kenna!!
Since the monorail is right by the cars and there wasn't a long line, we decided to hop on that first. This is the girls waiting in line!! It was a little colder this day but not too bad:)
Jordyn with her first drivers license! :)
Jordyn and Daddy in their car!
Makenna and me (not shown:) in our car!! I was going to let her drive the whole time by herself but she made me help her with the steering!
Castle!!
We then headed over to the Pirates ride!! I've never seen the line go outside and wind back and forth and back and forth past the Haunted Mansion but it did!! Thank goodness it is a quick line!
Miss J.J. in line:)
We then fast passed the Haunted Mansion, got something to eat and went to see the princesses. This line took forever!!! It was ridiculous!! I thought we were going to miss our fast pass!!
Sleeping Beauty!!
Cinderella!!
We then had to run as fast as could to the Haunted Mansion and got stuck behind a dancing walking thingy for Princess and the Frog. They literally cut right in front of us so we just walked behind them the whole way to the mansion. At least it was entertaining and they were giving away beads which the lady in front of us turned around and put two right on our girls!! We made it to the Haunted Mansion with just minutes to spare!!
We just hopped on the monorail back to our car!! They had this pretty Christmas tree in Downtown Disney so we opted to take a pic in front of this one instead of the crowded one inside the park!! :)
We were pretty tired by the end of that second day!! Jordyn got a hold of a donut the morning we were leaving and I thought it was a cute pic:)
On our way home, I realized I hadn't taken any pics of the girls in the car! Makenna looks grumpy in this one because she was so antsy to see her Lady!! She always worries about her whenever we leave her. She thinks Lady just pines away until we come back:) She doesn't realize that Lady is just fine and being lazy with Grandma and Grandpa. She just thinks Lady misses us soooo much!! It's so cute.
That's better!!
Miss Jordyn
The van was so nice to have for the trip!! We had so much room for all our crap:) I was surprised that the girls didn't take a nap though! We showered when we got home and vegged out. Jordyn was walking around playing with some toys and then all of a sudden snuggled up to me! Before I knew it, she was snoring!! Poor baby was exhausted!! Please forgive the ugliness in this pic. I was just out of the shower but I still wanted to show my baby girl! So cute.
