New Years

As the year comes to a close, I have been looking back at this very filled up year!!! I have traveled more this year than I have in my whole life and on a plane twice!! And to places that I have never been before. I started it off by visiting my best friend in Texas in January!! Sarah is such a good friend to me and I'm so thankful for her in my life (even if it's a long distance relationship;) That's when you know it's a friend for life. Distance hasn't made us lose touch!! Then we went on our big trip in July to the East Coast with my parents!! We saw Kirtland, Niagara Falls, Palmyra, NY, New York City, Philadelphia, Gettysburg, and then finally Washington D.C. It will be a trip that I will always remember. Thank you Mom and Dad!! We made a quick trip up to St. George in October to visit with my nieces and watch them play soccer! They are so good! And finally we finished off the year by going to California to take the girls to Disneyland!! I think we are staying put for awhile!! Especially with a new baby coming. That was another eventful part as well. We conceived naturally and are very excited for this new baby boy that will enter our family in April!! We are very excited to see what the next year will bring us!!

And to finish, just a few resolutions:)
I want to be a better mom. I want to be more patient and loving and to take the time to listen before I react.
I want to be more organized!!
I want to be a more loving wife.
I want to eat healthier!
And I want to stay out of other people's drama!! I'm going to concentrate on my family and not going to let other people's crap filter into my life.

Christmas morning Part 2

After we were done with our gifts at home, we headed over to my parents house. They fed us some yummy pancakes and bacon!!
This is Joe's cute doggie. She didn't really like the outfit though:)

Then we opened up some presents. Papa picked out some groovy shoes for Kenna!!

And she got a beautiful Princess jacket.

Jordyn got a Tinkerbell jacket and some cute shoes as well!! This is another one of Joe's dogs. She is a beautiful mastif and she was just checking out what she got.

Christmas Morning Part 1

We woke the girls up Christmas morning and I so wish we had taken a pic of their faces coming down the stairs but all we got was the video. They are at such a fun age right now!! It was so neat. This is their loot:) Santa got them the same exact stroller so they don't fight. Isn't that so thoughtful of him:)

Santa ate his cookies and drank all his milk!

And on to the presents!!!

Yes it is!! Santa found a Jesse doll for her. She has wanted one since last Christmas but Santa couldn't find any! This was the only one left at the store this year!!

A new camera!!

We started off with Christmas jammies but had to put on the Tinkerbell ones as soon as they were opened:) And of course Miss Jordyn is taking off the pants before too long. For some reason she likes to be without pants lately:)

Lady knows this might be something that would interest her!! It's a laser light and she goes nuts when she sees it!!

They got bells in their stockings like Polar Express!!

And of course Lady got some new toys too!! :)

I think the girls loved what they got!! And Trav and I did good as well. I've asked for earrings with the gemstone of the month of my babies when each of them were born and this time it's going to be April!! Yay!! And he got some gift cards and new shoes! I swear he's got more shoes than I do:-)

Christmas Eve

We always go over to Trav's parents home on Christmas Eve! We have dinner together with them and his sister's family. Jordyn loved watching this carousel go round and round;)

After dinner, Grandpa read us the Christmas story and then we sang some carols including Makenna's fave 'Silent Night'.

Christmas party!

We had our ward Christmas party on Saturday and since I'm on the activities committee and had to be there, my family was coming with me:) Trav's parents came too which was a nice help for Trav since I was working it the whole time.

I was in charge of getting everything ready for Santa. He was a huge hit!!
Makenna was so excited. Santa asked her all about Lady (because you know Santa knows everything about you!!) And she told him what she wanted (which were all things that I don't believe she is getting:) and of course told him that Jordyn wanted a Tinkerbell:)

She is so sweet!!

Makenna is such a sweet sister. She held her hand and everything trying to get her calm.
