Sweet brother

Makenna had tummy aches all weekend and her little brother was so worried about her. He kept leaning down by her head to see if she was ok!! It was very sweet!!

Aiden's party!!

I totally thought that I had blogged about Aiden's birthday party but I had only blogged about his actual birthday...not his party!! I'm so slacking on blogging lately!! I still need to do Easter....eeek!!!

His theme was Mickey Mouse because....well, everyone loves Mickey!! His Grandma made the cakes.

Miss Jor

Little Miss Jor was being so cute the other day that I had to take her picture. Unfortunately, this girl is camera shy so she never looked at me but they are still adorable!! I just love those beautiful curls on this beautiful girl!!!

She has been learning so much. I've been printing out letter sheets for her to practice with and she loves it. She calls it her homework and likes to do them while Kenna does her homework. She does really well in our little preschool thing we do except when it's my turn. Then she won't stay sitting on her name on the carpet....little stinker. I have also just been dropping Kenna off for school in the morning and staying out by the car until she goes in instead of going in with her. It's a lot easier to not haul the two younger kids in there. Well, Jordyn wanted to go play one time so I let her run in with Kenna and told her she had to come right back once the bell rang. I totally thought I was going to have to go in after her but as soon as the bell rang, she started running back to me and jumped right into the van. She has done this everytime she goes out to play and I'm so proud of her!! At the beginning of the year, she never would have done that!! She also plays very well by herself. She has her little toys go up and down stairs or in and out of cars and she can't leave until they get to where they are supposed to go. I tell her to get into the van because we have to go get Ken and she has to walk them all which can sometimes take forever depending on how many toys she has!! I guess I better give her some more warning!! I love this girl!!!

Makenna's Kindergarten graduation

My baby just graduated from Kindergarten!! I can't believe it!! This year has just flown by. They did a little program for all of the parents and they did wonderful!! They sang songs and each of them said a little part about what they wanted to be when they grew up. It was adorable!! Makenna actually told her teacher that she wanted to be a trash man at first. I have no idea where that came from. She likes to watch them from the window but....?? She is a silly girl! She then changed it to a Mommy which is what she tells me all the time. She always asks when she can have her own babies!! She did amazing on her part. I'm so proud of my little girl!!

I want to be a  homemaker,

and keep my house neat and clean.

I'll also take care of my kids,

as they grow from infants to teens.

 Aiden was pretty good through the whole thing but had to get down at the very end. :)

 Makenna's teacher is awesome!! We will be so sad to have to leave her class. At the end of the program she even teared up talking about her class. I can't wait until Jordyn can be in her class.

Another milestone!!

I figured I better right this down now or else I would forget. Mr. Aiden has been walking really well now the last couple weeks but if he fell, he would crawl to something that he could use to help him stand back up. Well, today he stood up by himself in the middle of the room!!! We were so proud of him!! I can't believe how grown up he is getting!! He also clapped his hands by himself today!! Love this dude so much!!

He also loves walking around with his little popping toy!! Loves it!! :)

So thankful!!

As we were driving to church this morning, I was contemplating on the years past before I was blessed with these sweet spirits. There was a time when I didn't want to go to church on Mother's day because I was wasn't a Mom. And to go from there to wrestling with three kiddos in Sacrament meeting is a true blessing. I'm so thankful that I was given this opportunity to be a Mom and I hope to continue to get better at it. I also wanted to remember that Makenna went up and sang the Mommy dearest song so well this year. I think she did pretty good last year but it reminded me of the first year she could go up. She was standing right in front of the Stake president and after they starting singing, my sweet daughter gradually starting getting lower and lower until she was hiding beneath the wall. It was so precious and the Stake Pres even commented on her in his talk. Anyway, I didn't know if I had written that down before and I wanted to remember it. Miss Jordyn could have gone up there for the first time today but I really didn't expect her to since she is my shy girl!! Maybe next year....:)

Not exactly the best week ever!!

This week we had to get our house replumbed. The company that did our house (and many, many other houses in the area including my brother and moms) completely messed it up so all the houses have to be redone. I didn't think it was going to be fun but I didn't think it would be THIS bad!! I had been over to my mom's house when she got it done and they only did a section of her house at a time so she could at least be somewhere but our guys tore my WHOLE house up at once. It was a crazy mess and there really wasn't anywhere that we could be. I tried to play with the kids in the toy room but that got messed up when the plumber came in yelling at me to watch my kids!! I had gone to the kitchen for just a minute to get Aiden some milk when I guess he started drilling and it started to go through the wall right where Jordyn was sitting!! He had told me where we had to clear out and this was not one of the places!! He wasn't supposed to go all the way through the wall and since he messed up, we had to clear out of the toy room even!! And I got yelled at. I was so mad. I pretty much had to set up the toy house in front of the door way and I played with my kids leaning on the front door!! Yeah, that wasn't going to work for a few days and since they completely shut off the water to the house all day Tuesday, we pretty much lived at my Mom's house. We were so thankful that we had somewhere to go. We were there from 9 that morning until 7 that night. Crazy!! And we did it again today! Thanks Mom and thanks Mom in law for Monday afternoon. Anyway, here is some of the mess that was our house!!

 The pipe leading from our tub. They found out that it was leaking so we had to hurry and call the builder to come and fix that before they plugged the hole.

Today was also stressful because they made me wait for the inspector and told me to make sure I opened the door as soon as they rang the doorbell because they won't wait. I just happened to see him drive by and park so I let the dogs out. I came back and he was just sitting there for a minute. I waited for him to knock but after a minute, I looked out again and he was gone!! I called the plumber and he started yelling at me because I wasn't out waiting all day for the guy!! All I was told was that I needed to be home but the inspector didn't even come to the door because he didn't see their truck because they were supposed to be there!!!! It wasn't my responsibility!! So I yelled back!! He didn't believe me that the inspector didn't come to the door because he wasn't there and I said yeah, you were supposed to be here!!! I was so mad that I called the company to make sure that inspector came back. I didn't want to have this mess in my house any longer than necessary!! Too make a long story longer, not even 20 minutes later, the plumber called and said he was on his way over to my house and the inspector should be there right after. And our builder showed up early to fix the tub so all ended up turning out wonderfully!! I just had to have a very stressful morning before that. They ended up finishing today.....not until 8 tonight but they are done and out of my house!!! I'm so glad to be done!!!
