The difference between girls and boys;-}

Since I only have girls, I have never had the pleasure of changing a boys diaper or potty trained a boy. And I never had to take a boy to the bathroom until today. We were at the grocery store and my sister had joined us with her two boys (I got the girls and she got the boys;) Makenna had to go potty and of course Gunnar had to go too. I really didn't know what to do. I asked my mom what to do with him. She said he will just do it. So off I went with two little three year olds. I went to one of the family bathrooms and I had Makenna go first. I carefully put tons of paper all over the toilet (I hate public bathrooms) and then carefully placed Makenna on the toilet and held her up so she didn't touch anything. After she was done, I told Gunnar it was his turn. He just pulls down his pants and aims. Well, my cute little nephew is pretty short so the toilet was a bit taller than he was and he started to pee all over the toilet. I quickly pick him up thinking that it will just go in the bowl. Nope! It went all over the floor and the toilet seat before he finally directed it into the toilet at the very end. It was actually quite funny because it truly was like a hose out of control!! I also realized that taking a boy to the bathroom is actually easier since he doesn't have to actually touch the toilet. You just have to make sure the hose is directed to the right place;)

The sad thing is, it doesn't matter how old they get- they still can't make it. I mean hubby does ok but my boys can't aim to save their lives! Their bathroom is a biohazard...

That is so true. Gunnar yelled for help lifting the toilet seat up. I came quick but not quick enough. I had to clean it off the wall, floor, etc. It was totally out of control. I don't think he hit the toilet bowl once. It's a good thing they are so dang cute.

I have all that FUN to look forward too! Not for a little while though!

Your girls are getting so grown up!

I have a question to ask. You were in the Haven ward with us right? Are you still in that ward? If so, how is Shelly (can't remember her last name) She was the RS pres for awhile. I have been thinking about her and wondering how she is doing?!
