My husband has given our funny little girl the nickname of Lana. Why, you might ask. Well, it's anal backwards;) It's all out of love, believe me, but it's oh so true. She makes us laugh (and cry) all the time with all the things that she HAS to have a certain way.
For example:
1. She has to have her blanket upside down with Pooh's feet at her head.
2. She has to have a certain cup with water at an exact spot by her bed. (She's gotten mad at me for having it like 5 inches off)
3. She can't have anything on the floor, (ie: dirty clothes or socks)
4. Everything on her shelves have to be right in the right place and we can't add anything new to it. (Her grandma bought her a piggy bank that she was so excited for and we put it on her shelf. Later that night as we put her to bed, she got all upset. I went up to see what was wrong and she got up, put the piggy bank in the hall and went back to bed.)
5. We can't have any lights on outside of her room.
6. She has to have her feet covered with her blanket when I sing her songs. If her feet pop out at any time, she freaks out.
7. She has to have her humidifier on.
8. I have to say goodnight to all the Little Einsteins on her clock.
9. She has to have vaseline on her lips.
10. Her baby or bear can't be touching her blanket and they have to be in a certain spot.
I'm sure there is more but that is what I remember right this second. We always wonder what we forgot to do or what is out of place when she starts screaming and we always just have to chuckle when we realize what it is. She is an awesome sleeper so I can't complain that she has to have everything just so. My mom said that maybe she will have a very clean room when she gets older;)

Well since she takes her pants into your room after she puts her pull-up on for her nap, because they can't be laying in her room. I call that clean. She asked me if a buzz light year doll could sleep with her yesterday. She took him upstairs but he wasn't allowed into her room. I guess because he was a boy. He had to sleep in the hall. I didn't get her water, so when I got downstairs, I hear her calling me over her monitor. "Grandma, you forgot my water" Then I got the wrong cup. We figured everything out and she went right to sleep. I think I have it all figured out now. It will go smoother next time. I Love You SOOOOO Much Makenna Rae.
Oh man, Chloe used to be the same way. Of course, she grew out of the neatness part! Kids are so funny!
Love the nickname, by the way!
Oh my gosh! You have told me about that but seeing it in a list is even crazier...in a sweet kind of way, of course!! Your momma is right, she is going to be one neat child (hopefully!).
Love ya, Lana!!
What time do you start putting her to bed? IT sounds like it takes a while! :) That is so funny. I hope she never has to share a room!
