Training wheels

Makenna's tricycle wheel totally broke off a couple of weeks ago so I started looking for another one to replace it. I found this bike at Walmart and it wasn't much more than a tricycle so I had Makenna get on it and try it out. I just didn't think that my little three year old was ready for an actual bicycle (I tried to call it a bike and she corrected me and said it was a bicycle;) with training wheels but believe me, she is. She absolutely loves it and doesn't ever want to get off of it. I have to promise that she will get to ride hers as soon as Grandma and I get to ride ours while they ride in the trailer. And she never forgets a promise;) Today she got off of her bike and Grandma asked if she was done and she just said, "No, I just need to "chill" for a minute."

As for Jordyn, I just keep waiting for that day when she figures out the crawling. She is so close and I know it's just going to click one day soon. In the meantime, she loves to practice.

And as soon as I took that video of her sitting up, she became a pro at it. The day after, she just started doing it like she has always done it. She sits up in like two seconds. She will get all the way across the room just by rolling and sitting, rolling and sitting.

Makenna looks so cute on that bike. I need to get Luke practicing on his bike. Oh how I wish we lived on a culdesac. Jordyn looks so cute too and so proud to be sitting up.

Makenna thinks she is so cool on that bike. It makes her feel big. She didn't want to get off of her bike she just wanted to chill for a minute. She was asked if she was hungry and she said, "No I'm good." She is 3 going on 23. Jordyn is getting really independant. She just wants to go and do what she wants. They are so adorable.

So sweet! Hayden taught himself to ride a bike at 3. The more they practice with training wheels the better, it really does help. You should see the little 4 year olds who BMX, so cute!
