Travis was going to his colleague's concert tonight to support and he took Makenna along with him. If she was good, she got a chocolate shake afterwards so I called it a 'date'. I can't tell you how excited this little girl was to go somewhere by herself with her daddy! For two hours straight, she just kept saying, "Is it time to go yet, daddy? Let's go, daddy! Come on, daddy!" It was so cute. She literally ran out of the house and was a total ham at the concert. I guess she was good since she came home with a shake. And I know I will be hearing about this for weeks! That girl has a seriously good memory;) I'm thinking they need to do that more often!!

Sorry mom but it is not just a chocolate shake, it is a chocolate milk shake. I heard the story this morning. She was the most excited about that and her daddy let her play the drums. That is so cool. They need that one on one time.
