Mobile!!

My baby boy turned eight months old yesterday!!! It's amazing how much he has grown in the last couple of months!! We weighed him last night and on our scale he is 19 pounds 9 ounces! He eats like a champ!! He loves his veggies and will eat his fruit but give me looks and will turn up his nose a little bit:) He has also learned to sit up. He's been able to do that but will still topple over (must have too big of a head:) after a bit so I don't let him do it without someone close by!

He also started to really crawl on his eight month birthday!! He had just been lunging forward before but he used both his arms and legs last night. It's so neat to see him learning new things but sad to see him grow up so fast!!
Aiden is such a happy baby and smiles and flirts with everyone! I think he made the day of a Walmart cashier yesterday! I think he is starting to turn into a Mama's boy though. I guess he just loves his Mama so much:) I will take it. He is such a love and joy to have in our home. We love him so much.

Training wheels

Makenna's tricycle wheel totally broke off a couple of weeks ago so I started looking for another one to replace it. I found this bike at Walmart and it wasn't much more than a tricycle so I had Makenna get on it and try it out. I just didn't think that my little three year old was ready for an actual bicycle (I tried to call it a bike and she corrected me and said it was a bicycle;) with training wheels but believe me, she is. She absolutely loves it and doesn't ever want to get off of it. I have to promise that she will get to ride hers as soon as Grandma and I get to ride ours while they ride in the trailer. And she never forgets a promise;) Today she got off of her bike and Grandma asked if she was done and she just said, "No, I just need to "chill" for a minute."

As for Jordyn, I just keep waiting for that day when she figures out the crawling. She is so close and I know it's just going to click one day soon. In the meantime, she loves to practice.

And as soon as I took that video of her sitting up, she became a pro at it. The day after, she just started doing it like she has always done it. She sits up in like two seconds. She will get all the way across the room just by rolling and sitting, rolling and sitting.
