It seems that you keep more of the weight you put on with pregnancy with each baby that you have. With Makenna, I only had five pounds extra. I wish that was all I had left with Jordyn and now Aiden. But it is not so. The weight likes to stay put the older you get and I've never lost well while breastfeeding which I usually do for a year!! It's like my body holds onto that fat to make sure I have enough to feed them! It really sucks because it would be so much easier if that helped me to lose weight since I do it for so long! I didn't even start trying to lose with Jordyn until after I stopped nursing her because it seemed to be useless. I finally had it all off right before I got pregnant with Aiden:) Go figure. This is the highest un pregnant weight I've had and I can't fit into anything! It sucks but I'm not as obsessed with it as I was before. It's not healthy to put all my worth into what my weight is. Don't get me wrong. I really want to lose weight. I feel better and I like how my clothes fit when I'm thinner. But I'm not going to put all of my self worth into a number. My husband tells me all the time that I look good and that I'm sexy. I never believe him but I'm going to start. If he thinks I'm beautiful, then who am I to argue with him. :) I am just going to try to work out as much as having a young family allows and try to eat healthier options. But I am also not going to deprive myself of yummy food! I am going to strive to lose weight but I'm not going to let it overtake my life. I am learning to love the way I am no matter what size my body happens to be at the moment.

Some honest things about me.....
Miss Ashley tagged me. So, here are 10 things you may or may not know (or want to know) about ME!!
1. I get very nervous when talking in church! My heart feels like it's going to pound out of my chest. I get all shaky and I just want to curl up in a ball and cry! I get this way even if I make a comment in Relief Society or say the prayer. It's really ridiculous.
2. I'm a little OCD. And today is proof of that. We were almost to church and I was wondering if I had unplugged my straight iron. I had to drop Travis and Makenna off and go back just to check. Jordyn wasn't too happy about that either. She couldn't figure out why we weren't getting out too. Then, as I was heading back to church, I wondered if I shut the garage door so I turned back around to check. Thankfully I wasn't too far away, but still!! I guess I worry that my house will catch on fire or get broken into. I have to mentally think about it or I will always second guess if I've done it or not. Travis thinks I'm nuts!!
3. I can't stand it when people play their music very loud when I'm at home. Well, more specifically, their bass when all you hear is the thumping and rattling of the cars. It's so annoying and it makes me boil especially if they do it for a very long time. Some people, like me, like to take naps and it drives me insane. I really don't need to hear the neighbor down the street. Really!
4. I'm not a typical girl. I think I've been a tomboy since I was younger with an older brother and younger brother (I didn't get a sister until I was nine). I just hung out with their friends and played basketball and softball with them. I really don't enjoy clothes shopping (I do like new clothes....I just wish someone would do it for me) and I love sports. We went to a 49ers game on our honeymoon!!
5. I hate doing my hair. And I hate that it takes men like 2 minutes to do theirs. I really wish we were like the Jetson's!! I would love to go in a machine at one end and come out the other all dressed and with my hair done;)
6. I go on spiritual roller coasters. Sometimes I am on a real high and others real low. I'm at the low end right now but it's good to know that it's just a matter of time before I got back up again.
7. I'm a homebody. And I'm lucky that Travis is the same way. Don't get me wrong. I like to go out occasionally too but I am very happy to just be home.
8. I'm not a very good entertainer. I get all crazy about it. I feel like my house has to be spotless and everything has to be perfect. So, I run around like a crazy person and don't really enjoy it and then I'm exhausted at the end.
9. I play with my knuckles. I have done this for a very long time. I don't know why but I do it when I'm bored or nervous....etc...
10. I'm naturally a very shy person. I was super, super shy when I was younger. I am gradually trying to outgrow it and I think I'm doing pretty good but I still don't talk much unless I know you really well.
I tag anyone that wants to do it.....

Scratching the itch!!
It's our 7th wedding anniversary and I'm so thankful that I married this man!! And to think it all started with a dream. Nine years ago, I had a dream about Travis out of the blue and I couldn't get him out of my head. Throughout the morning, a voice in my head kept telling me to call him and I kept telling it NO!! I had only seen him twice since we graduated, at his farewell and when he spoke at my friends church. I kept telling myself that it would be crazy to call him. But that voice wouldn't go away so I finally caved in. I called him and we got together a couple of days later to catch up as FRIENDS!! I think we both went "Wow" at each other when we saw each other for the first time in a few years. He had gained some weight and I had lost some (about 30 pounds). We had a ton of fun and talked for hours before he left for the night. He called me everyday after that and by the end of the week, we both knew it was going to be more. (He always says I chased after him but he did all the calling. I only did the first one;) Anyway, it was neat dating someone that I had known half of my life and had so many things in common with. It was so easy. I already knew his family and he knew mine. Our moms had even served in the young women's presidency together;) Our friendship was old but this relationship was definitely new. He had grown from a skinny teenager to a handsome man and had matured a lot from his mission. We dated two years before we got married but I think we both knew we would always be together.

Everything was forgotten once he came to pick me up. We drove to the temple in awe just enjoying the moment. It was hot and very windy but also overcast so it was nice. It was amazing once we were at the temple. I'm normally a very nervous person but I couldn't believe how calm I was. President Ense married us and it was so neat. He wasn't even supposed to be the one to do it but I'm so glad that he did because he did an incredible job. He told us afterwards that he felt the spirit very strongly while he married us and that the Lord approves of our marriage. So cool!! It was truly a wonderful experience and it made all the planning worth while. I can't imagine being married anywhere else and I can't imagine being sealed for eternity to anyone else. I'm so thankful to have such a wonderful husband that loves me despite my shortcomings. I picked a good one and there is no seven year itch here;) Love you honey!
