Disneyland Day 2

Day two at Disneyland started off with a very long line of cars going into the parking lot. We had decided to not take the bus because it was so crowded and thought it would be easier with our stroller and all our crap. It was easier but it was just busy!! The first parking lot that we had parked at the first day was full right before we got there so we had to go back towards Downtown Disney. I had never been back there and thought we were going to have to walk forever to get inside. Fortunately we found the monorail not too far from the car and just hopped on that to get into the park. The best part was that they checked our tickets and whatnot irght there before getting on so we didn't have to wait in a long line to get in.
Makenna was super excited to get on this 'train'!! She got to sit in the very front with Grandma and Papa and the driver told them that she was the most well behaved little girl!! Yay Kenna!!

Since the monorail is right by the cars and there wasn't a long line, we decided to hop on that first. This is the girls waiting in line!! It was a little colder this day but not too bad:)

We then headed over to the Pirates ride!! I've never seen the line go outside and wind back and forth and back and forth past the Haunted Mansion but it did!! Thank goodness it is a quick line!

We then fast passed the Haunted Mansion, got something to eat and went to see the princesses. This line took forever!!! It was ridiculous!! I thought we were going to miss our fast pass!!

Of course Jordyn won't look at the camera in any of them!! :)

And Mulan! I was very proud of Makenna. She was still a bit shy but she stood right next to them!!

We then had to run as fast as could to the Haunted Mansion and got stuck behind a dancing walking thingy for Princess and the Frog. They literally cut right in front of us so we just walked behind them the whole way to the mansion. At least it was entertaining and they were giving away beads which the lady in front of us turned around and put two right on our girls!! We made it to the Haunted Mansion with just minutes to spare!!

The girls got these cool swords after we watched the parade the first day. We had gotten them necklaces but Makenna was adamant about wanting the sword. We asked the next guy if we could trade it which he nicely did and then Jordyn wanted a sword so we had to trade for hers too!! They loved them:)

We just hopped on the monorail back to our car!! They had this pretty Christmas tree in Downtown Disney so we opted to take a pic in front of this one instead of the crowded one inside the park!! :)

We were pretty tired by the end of that second day!! Jordyn got a hold of a donut the morning we were leaving and I thought it was a cute pic:)

On our way home, I realized I hadn't taken any pics of the girls in the car! Makenna looks grumpy in this one because she was so antsy to see her Lady!! She always worries about her whenever we leave her. She thinks Lady just pines away until we come back:) She doesn't realize that Lady is just fine and being lazy with Grandma and Grandpa. She just thinks Lady misses us soooo much!! It's so cute.

The van was so nice to have for the trip!! We had so much room for all our crap:) I was surprised that the girls didn't take a nap though! We showered when we got home and vegged out. Jordyn was walking around playing with some toys and then all of a sudden snuggled up to me! Before I knew it, she was snoring!! Poor baby was exhausted!! Please forgive the ugliness in this pic. I was just out of the shower but I still wanted to show my baby girl! So cute.

We had a great time! It was very relaxed since we had Grandma and Papa's help with just our two kiddos and it was so neat to see how excited the girls got with all of the characters!! Travis said that we probably won't make it out there until our boy is four! :) Either way, we will hopefully get to go on a not so busy day!

Disneyland Day 1

We went to Disneyland a few days before Christmas!! We usually wait until Travis goes on school break but this is the closest it's been to Christmas!! And boy was it busy. We saw a sign that said it was at capacity!! I don't think I ever want to go that close again! The girls were so excited though. We had our ward Christmas party on Saturday night and I told Makenna that we would leave for Disneyland after we went to church. Since we went to church on Saturday, she thought we were leaving then. I told her we weren't leaving until we went to 'church church'! LOL! We told her it was going to be a long drive but about half way through she started asking if we were there yet. We told her that we wouldn't be actually going to Disneyland until the next day and she got upset!! She just kept saying, "you told me that we were going after 'church church'!!!" She just didn't understand that we had to drive there first:)

We saw Mickey right when we got inside and we were one of the last ones that got to take a pic that were standing in line!! Unfortunately, the idiot that took our pic didn't see that Makenna wasn't looking! Ugh!

They wanted to get on the train asap so we decided to hop on that and take it around to toon town instead of walking:)

Jordyn started to cry when we got her out of the car!! She thought it was so cool.

Minnie Mouse!! Makenna was much better with the characters this year but she still didn't want to stand right by her:) I don't know what is so scary about Minnie Mouse!!

Tea cups!! Mommy couldn't go on these so Daddy took both the girls. I didn't think that Jordyn would want to but she was quite upset when she saw both Trav and Makenna getting in line without her. Later on, she kept pointing to it when we were walking by! She loved it!

Pretty princess on the casey junior train ride. Jordyn was crying when we got in this one because she saw the carousel and really wanted to go on that one. I think she was happy by the time we got off though:)

We then headed over to get some yummy soup in bread bowls to have for dinner and then we were done for the day. It got pretty cold and we were pretty tired!! It was a great first day!!
