So, we just recently got new blinds for these pesky windows. They are pretty but they bring in soo much heat that we HAD to cover them. They would also put a spotlight on our kitchen table so we were always shading our eyes while we ate breakfast....total pain in the butt;)

It already feels cooler in that room so I'm sure it is going to help with the power bill. Or at least I hope;) The only thing I will miss is seeing the full moon through them but I will deal with itÜ
Makenna wanted to watch the guy putting them up and after he had been there awhile, she yells, "Daddy, what is THAT man doing in MY house?" It was so funny!!

Oh good! It will definitely help with the power...better than tin foil in the windows, thats for sure!
I didn't think about it while I was babysitting this morning. But it was alot cooler in Makenna's playroom today. Last year it was unbearable in there.
