We were invited to Chuck E. Cheese the other night for our niece's birthday and Makenna kept calling it chicken cheese!! We kept correcting her but she really never got it. So now he is known as chicken in our house! She had a blast at first going (or should I say running) from game to game and then eating pizza and cake. But then came Chuck E. (or chicken). She didn't see him at first but once she caught sight of him, she freaked. And I mean freaked!!! She ran across the table and threw herself into her grandma's arms while screaming at the top of her lungs!! It hurt my ears;) She literally shook until he left to go walk around somewhere else. Eventually, she calmed down but we were at the spot where they go in and out so he had to come back and the screaming and the shaking started all over again. At that point, she was done and started to ask to go home because she wanted to go night night. Now that girl had to be scared if she was asking to leave a fun place like that and go to BED!!! She still had fun until that point and the funny part was that chuck e. was a GIRL!! She came out after and apologized;)
Jordyn also turned 9 months on Wednesday and got another tooth that day!!! Her top left one came in and the one next to it looks like it's on it's way too. No wonder she has been so cranky!!! She also had her check up yesterday and has definitely gone into the stranger anxiety phase. She used to let him hold her and talk to her and yesterday, she just screamed her heart out with big, huge crocodile tears. It was so sad. And she had to get a shot that she missed at six months too so that didn't help. Poor girl. She is a solid 20 pounds, 6 ounces and in the 77%. She didn't gain much but I'm sure that is because she is crawling now. And she is 26 3/4 inches long which is in the 25%. So our J.J. is still a shorty but I love it!! I'm sure that is why her legs are so chunky (and chewable). Travis looked at both of our girls the other day and said that their thighs are the same size. I didn't believe it so I measured them and he was right!!! Kenna's is just slightly bigger but just about the same. I don't care. I wish my thighs looked so dang cute;)

Aww poor Makenna. I am scared of Chicken Cheese too! And, I totally agree. At what age are chunky thighs no longer cute?
J.J. will start to thin out now that she is crawling. It obviously is already happening. Make sure you get plenty of pictures of those cute thighs. They probably won't be there much longer. Makenna is so cute. I don't think she will want to go back to Chicken Cheese any time soon.
Didn't she have a birthday party at Chicken Cheese? It's weird how they get scared of stuff that didn't used to scare them. We had Bella in her own room for a long time and now she won't stay in there anymore. I guess I shouldn't have let her watch "ghostdusters". Bella calls Kung Fu Panda "Fu Kanda". Some things I don't ever want her to grow out of. by the way, JJ looks cute with that backpack on.
Her 1st birthday was at chicken cheese!! I think she is scared of characters now thanks to goofy. We went to Disneyland in December and he threw himself into a trash can right next to us and scared the daylights out of her. She kept saying, "I don't like goofy!!" That stinks that Bella won't sleep in her room. I love the way kids say certain words. It's adorable. What backpack does J.J. have on?
haha. maybe it's wings?? it's the bottom picture on the side of your blog. Maybe the border made me think it was a backpack.
Yes, it's wings!! I had to crop her bum out of it so I could put it on the blog. But I thought it was too cute of a pic not to share;)
