I have had so much fun looking at all of Makenna's old pictures and picking out my favorites. I will be glad that I did it when I print them out and look at them in the future.
I call this her Elvis picture!
We were about to go to Travis' family reunion when she broke her arm. I had that pad of paper writing down the things I needed to take and she had to do so as well. She pulled off that cast the day before we were leaving so we had to have a last minute doctors appointment to get it put back on. Thankfully, she was healed enough that she could wear a splint instead.
The splint was nice because we could take it off when we played in the sand and water. Mommy was very happy to not have to put a plastic bag over the cast the whole trip;)

It was awful when she broke her arm, but what I will never forget about that reunion is the call I got from you about Makenna wandering off. Thankfully you found her quickly, but lets not have a repeat this year, ok?
Um, yeah! You won't have to worry about that mom. I won't think someone else is watching and I won't let them both out of my sight this year;) We were very blessed that the little stinker didn't go far. I was so relieved that I couldn't stop crying.
