Catching up....Christmas tree!!

We decorated our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, the girls had gotten pretty sick so they were laying around all day. Poor things!!

We cleaned out all their toys and put some toys out in the garage and put the toys that were in the garage back in the house. It was like Christmas morning!! This is all that Jordyn was interested in while we were decorating.

Poor Makenna felt so yucky! She kept wanting to help but she was burning up!! We made her lay down and drink some juice!!

Lights are on!!

Makenna got some energy every now and then to help put some ornaments up.

And this is what Jordyn was interested in! She just didn't care about decorating the tree. I didn't mind though. I was just happy that she was wanting to eat at this point....She has later decided she likes taking OFF a lot of the ornaments like she did last year:)

And here is the final product!! Our tree:)

Why (Disneyland version;)

Why do California drivers drive like idiots?? Slower drivers to the right...not go the same speed as the driver on the right and block everyone for miles!!

Why won't my two year sleep well when we are out of town?

Why is it always slow and nice at Disneyland for everyone else but it's always super crowded and at capacity whenever we go?

Why are people so pushy and rude? (except for two ladies in the restroom that let me go in front of them because I was prego:)

Why do I have to be so cliche' and have to be the prego that has to go potty constantly?

Why wouldn't my two year sit in the stroller???

Why do my girls have to be so cute??

Why did we stand in a line for 45 minutes just to see princesses? Oh..because of the previous one:)

Why does my 4 year old remember Goofy scaring her TWO years ago??? That girl has got a memory!!

Why do I look so awful in all the pics we took?

Why do we go to Disneyland?........

To see my girls faces when they see Mickey or Minnie or Cinderella or Buzz or Woody or Sleeping Beauty or Eeyore or Tigger and Pooh or Santa:)

December goes too fast:)

It's December 19th!! How in the world did it get to be December 19th already??? And this busy week flew by too! On Sunday, we had our Stake Christmas concert with the choir and orchestra. Travis did amazing but unfortunately I had to listen to most of it out in the hall. Jordyn wasn't cooperating. I guess she had too much church already:) And poor Trav had to do two concerts. He was pretty tired. Monday was busy cleaning while I could and getting ready for the preschool party which was Tuesday. Wednesday, we had my work party at Benihanas. We had never been there and probably won't go again. Not that it wasn't good. It was just way pricey (even with my discount). That's just more than I ever like to spend on something like food. But it was good to do once. And it's nice to be able to introduce your spouse to those people that you always talk about and put faces to names. Thursday was Austin's birthday so we ran over there after I got off work. I can't believe he's a teenager:) Friday, I braved the store to get some groceries and get Lady a stocking. I can't believe I forgot my Lady:) And then it was Trav's party. We ended up getting two $20 Target gift cards at that one so that was nice and made up a little of what we spent at mine. Too bad we didn't win the camera they were giving out:) I then stayed up until after midnight wrapping everything!!! My fingers were sore but I'm done!!! Yay!! Now I just have to help decorate the church for the party tonight, pack for our trip, and then help get about 250 people dinner! I guess we will see how that goes. I'm very thankful that I'm at a good time in my pregnancy. No more sickies and not ginormous yet:) And I get to be off work until the 29th!! Yay. After tonight, it's just time to enjoy my hubby and beautiful kiddos!

Preschool Christmas party

I hosted our preschool Christmas party today! I worked really hard on getting it all ready and really wished that it went better. I think the kids had a good time though. I guess it was mainly just me that was all crazy! :)

I found some cute crafts for us to do. These Rudolph hats and cute Christmas trees!! The antlers are their hands!

We also did a fun game of decorating your sibling like a Christmas tree:)

Here they are coloring their trees!! Then we decorated some cookies for their dessert and had lunch! I hope they all had a good time!

Keeping him warm:)

With every baby, Lady has always laid on my belly! Even when I was just newly pregnant, she was all over my belly! She gets herself nice and comfy. I think she figures this is the only time she can cuddle with them before they start making noise:)

Stuck!!!

Sometimes sweatshirt holes are just too small:)

Starting to get irritated....

Starting to get upset.....
Aren't you out there to help me mommy???

This is when I finally put down the camera and helped her out:) It was so cute though! Love this cute, baby girl!!

Popping out!

Me at exactly 20 weeks. Travis has his finger over the flash so there is a shadow but I didn't like the other pic he took:) It's starting to stick out really good now.

Jordyn didn't even want to give me a minute to take a pic:)

Random

We told Makenna that we were going to find out if she was having a brother or sister before we left for the doctors. At first she misunderstood and thought we were going to have the baby right then. And then my mom was preparing her that it might be a sister (because she was determined that she was getting a brother) and she replies, "I don't need another sister. I already have one!!!"

At my OB appointment, we got his and hers H1N1 shots. My doctor thought Trav should get one too since he is a teacher! So, hopefully everything will be alright. I think we have waited long enough to know that it is ok.

I think Jordyn is getting over being traumatized by Santa. She wants to look at the pic now and smiles.

We put up our tree and Christmas stuff right after Thanksgiving and Makenna thought that Santa was coming that night. She was quite disappointed. She is really at a fun age this year.

Jordyn is being nicer to our tree this year. Last year, we had no ornaments on the whole bottom because she wouldn't quit messing with it. She will still bring me an ornament here and there but not too bad.

We put beads on the tree this year and Makenna asked us why we were putting necklaces on it.

Makenna won't leave the baby Jesus alone in my nativities.

We rotated some toys. We put some out in the garage to make room for the tree and put some back in that had been out for awhile and I think we should have just wrapped them and put them under the tree. It's like Christmas. They are so excited to play with all these 'new' toys:)

Jordyn has to have all her buds in her crib with her when she goes to sleep. She has Bolt, Rhino, and Mittens. Plus, a couple of babies, a doggie, Eeyore and two Minnie Mouses. And they have to be in a certain spot. She knows immediately if someone is missing.

Every time Lady barks (for any reason), Jordyn replies loudly, "Hama's here!!!"

It's a wiener!!

Added some more pics:) My scanner was being weird on me so there are a couple that scanned smaller than the others but o-well:) Everything looks great but I guess I have a small cyst in the placenta. But the ultrasound tech said it was nothing to worry about and it was good that it wasn't by the cord. My OB said we will just check it again in about six weeks just to make sure it doesn't grow. The placenta is also against my stomach and that is probably why I don't feel him as much.

He's already buff.....look at that muscle:)

Cute leg and foot. You can see the cyst in this pic. It's the dark circle right above his foot.

Foot

Spine, arm and hand

Another hot dog shot:) And a real good look at the cyst! I still can't believe we are having a boy!! It still doesn't seem real. I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with a boy and I'm definitely going to have to practice diaper changing:)
