Jordyn in Gymnastics!

We put Jordyn in gymnastics for the first time! She started last week and I think she has a lot of fun. It's hard on Mommy though! My low back hurt tons last week from bending over for an hour! I tried to make sure my back was straighter this time:) The teacher is a guy (Coach Jonathan) and he's super nice. Of course Miss Jordyn clams up every time he even comes near her....well, except when he's giving out gummy bears and stamps:)
Jordyn does really good on the balance beam!

Doesn't she look adorable in her leotard:)

Loving the trampoline!!

I got Jordyn's gymnastics class and Makenna's dance class at the exact same time and they are right next to each other so it's perfect!! I had to get a couple of extra shots of her too:)

She's having a blast!!

Starting to look real!

I had a doctor's appointment today and I got another pic!! I love that my OB does lots of ultrasounds! He/she is starting to really look like a real baby now. He was waving at us and kept opening his/her mouth!! I have had a hard month so it was nice to actually see the baby and know that everything is alright.

I have had some issues and thankfully my doctor sat and listened to me and made me feel a ton better. With each pregnancy I have had a huge rash under my arms that pretty much gets raw. It truly sucks. I got a prescription but it didn't really help completely. Thankfully, I decided to use Gold Bond lotion and even though it stings when I first put it on, it has cleared it up better than any dumb prescription stuff that I've used. I am also starting to have my usual huge headaches, and I got a lovely infection. Plus, I have been having these pains in my stomach which had me a little worried too. And for two weeks, I couldn't pee in the middle of the night. I would wake up with a full bladder but I couldn't get anything out. I would literally be pushing with all that I had and I might get a little bit out. I have to say it's very painful and frustrating to have a full bladder and not be able to do anything about it. This also happened with Jordyn but it only happened once and I was pretty big at the time. So this worried me being so early and it happening already. My doc gave me a referral to a urologist if it happens again! I hope that it doesn't but I doubt I will be that lucky. I am finally in my second trimester and I am ready to stop being nauseous, tired and for this baby to start cutting me some slack. My doc even talked to the baby while on ultrasound and said to take it easy on momma!! He also suggested that I get the H1N1 vaccine. I really didn't want to because I've heard bad things with it like miscarriage and stuff but my doc told me not to listen to all that crap. So, I'm going to think about it some more and if I decide to do it, it will be easy because my doc has them at his office. I guess it's pretty important for pregos to get it because he gets like 100 doses every week and health care workers aren't getting many of them at all. So, we will see. I just want this baby to stay healthy. And on a side note.....we get to find out what we are having in five weeks on November 30th!!! I can't wait!!

Oh to be a baby again.....

We were cleaning the garage and Travis was putting all the baby stuff together so we would know where it was when we needed it. Well, the girls saw the play mat and decided they needed to play with it now!! Especially Jordyn:) She was lying under there for quite awhile.

Then I showed her the mirror and I got a pic that is very similar to a baby one;)

Playing with the toys....

Love this face!!

And then since I had the camera out, I thought I would take a few close ups of Kenna.

So beautiful!!

Getting Prepared for #3

We have been thinking a lot about bringing another new baby into our home. And since we have to go to the doctors to get pregnant, we have to prepare a little bit more than the average couple. I have to get a prescription to be taken at the beginning of the cycle and take tests to make sure exactly when I ovulate. When I ovulate, I call both the fertility place and my OB's office to make appointments for the next day. Travis goes to the fertility place first and then later we go to my OB's office for the IUI. Thankfully we have only had to do it the one time for both girls. Basically though, you pretty much have to pick a month and do it. There is no spontaneity to it. It is definitely, very much planned. I usually bounce some ideas of when to do it around in my head and then Trav's and then see how good I feel about it. This time I thought about November. I would be due in August so Trav would still be home for a couple of weeks before he started school again and we would be slow at work when I had to go back so it wouldn't be that hard at first. I felt really good about it and just planned on doing it in November. Then a few months ago, Travis suggested that we not wait that long. I asked him why he thought so and if he was getting some inspiration that I wasn't. He just said he thought we should go in earlier. I asked him how much earlier and he said the next month!!! Haha!! I said I would compromise and go a little earlier but not that much!!! So, October it was going to be!! LOL!!! Well, Heavenly Father truly does have a sense of humor!! He took matters into His own hands and surprise......we are expecting!!! The natural way!!! I was so shocked but I knew before that stick turned positive at the same time. I guess Travis was listening to the spirit more than I was. I know this baby is supposed to be here right at this time. I have no doubt about that. So, normally I'm a little more prepared because I usually have been waiting for so long before it happens but I guess we are going to have to be prepared whether we are ready or not!! It took awhile to really believe that I was pregnant.

This helped:-)
My OB just casually said, "yup, you got a baby in there." I'm due on April 25th and am 13 weeks and 1 day along! And either this is a boy or I really don't like getting pregnant the natural way because I have felt like CRAP!!! I never threw up with the girls and only got nauseous while brushing my teeth. I am just barely feeling a little more normal now. I have been completely exhausted and I don't really have any motivation to do anything. Plus, I'm already huge! I'm hoping it's just because it's my third:) I'm also craving everything that I happen to see:) If I see something on tv that sparks my attention, I have to have it!! I just need the suggestion of something to crave it. I saw my coworker eating a tomato and I ate so many tomatoes after that. So weird. (Now my weird facebook status awhile ago of eating a tomato and chocolate makes more sense now:) Anyway, we are so excited and my wonderful hubby keeps me going. He makes me feel pretty even though I feel gross. I think he really likes me prego:) We can't wait to meet this special little spirit that had to be here right at this time!

Not sweating the small stuff

I have come to the realization that you can't please everyone no matter how hard you try. There are just way too many different personalities in this world and some just don't mesh together. I just found out that a certain person thinks I need to apologize for something that happened two and a half years ago!!! She is mad because we didn't come to her birthday party! The thing is it was the exact day of Makenna's second birthday and not the exact day of this persons birthday. She just decided to have it on this certain day. I told her why we wouldn't be there and why my parents wouldn't be there. At the time, I was under the assumption that it was perfectly fine but now I hear that I should have apologized for this??? I truly don't get this. My daughter is higher priority than anyone especially non family! Anyone that doesn't get this, either doesn't have children of their own or something is wrong with them. I really don't think this is something to be festering over for 2 1/2 years!!! So, I have decided that I can't worry about what other people think all the time. I just can't. It's not worth it anyway. Truly some people will be upset with you no matter what you try to do so what's the point in worrying about it:) I will concentrate on what is most important in my life and if someone doesn't like it.....0-well :p

Random

Our sweet Jordyn can be cuddly sometimes. She was snuggling with her Daddy before bed last night:) I seriously could eat those feet...or at least nibble on them for awhile!

I love the way she says things too......
Grandma and Grandpa= Hama and Hepa
Grandma and Papa= Hama and Papa
Butterfly= He fly
Humidifier= Hefier
Cereal= Ce ler (she says this so differently that it's hard to even express it in writing)
Milk= Nilk
Fish or Fishies= shishies

She also drinks really well from a regular cup thanks to nursery:) She absolutely loves gogos (Yogos). She will eat them all day if you let her! She can also count to 17 (that's how many stairs we have:).
Makenna is such a good big sister. She loves to cuddle Jordyn and also tries to discipline her as well. I call her the second mommy. She can get really frustrated with her at times but then be so loving and concerned as well. They are very close and Jordyn does whatever Makenna does. She is her parrot sometimes. Makenna is also learning how to write her letters very well and surprised me by almost knowing the whole pledge of allegiance. We have been doing that in preschool and all the kids will have it down by kindergarten. She loves doing her school and Mommy loves having some alone time to actually get stuff done when I have the week off and loves teaching her when it is my week. She loves her friends and gives them hugs frequently. She hugs her cousin Gunnar a lot which thankfully he doesn't mind....yet:)

I love these little girls so much and I'm so happy to have two beautiful, healthy sweethearts to spend my day with!!

Different day....same clothes:(

For some reason, Makenna loves this shirt and pants. And she likes to wear them every day! It is a Halloween shirt (at least it's good timing) with a cat on it that is like two years old and the jeans have been worn so much that they now have a hole in it. On the days where we are actually going somewhere, I make her wear something else but she asks to put them back on the second we are home. I have no idea why!! Plus, she hates showing her knees right now. It's not a big deal now but when it was hot, she didn't even want to wear shorts. I would ask her why and she said she didn't want to show her legs and knees. I hope it is just a phase because she is too young to be having those kinds of issues!!

And here is my cute little tomboy!! This little cutie pie can play with her cars for a very long time. She was driving them around the chair legs for the longest time. She also likes to drive them all over the couch!! So sweet!

What I woke to this morning:)

Jordyn was talking to herself in her crib and I listened to her as I gradually woke up. I really like it when she wakes up like this instead of crying! It was just a bunch of nonsense and then all of a sudden.....

"Hi Jesus......Hi!!"

She always says hi to Jesus in our pictures and our Christus but there are no pictures of Jesus in her room:)

She's saying 'Grinch'....I swear!

Prepare to laugh!! :)

Pics!!

I decided to take Jordyn in to get her 2 year old birthday picture taken. I really didn't even think about it until yesterday and I didn't want to miss out on her free 8X10!! Well, their new policy is that you have to buy one sheet to get the free one! Ugh! So we got a picture of Makenna as well. It was well worth it though. They both look so cute.
I had a feeling that it would be another sad pic!! :-} It is still so dang adorable though.

And you have to love Makenna in her Halloween get up. She just looked so cute and what a ham she was!! She was posing big time and did whatever they wanted her to do. She wasn't too happy that the lady rolled down her pants though...(she likes them rolled up for some reason;) And I tried to make sure I got the pic that wasn't too fake smilish! They are both so beautiful!!
