Starting to look real!

I had a doctor's appointment today and I got another pic!! I love that my OB does lots of ultrasounds! He/she is starting to really look like a real baby now. He was waving at us and kept opening his/her mouth!! I have had a hard month so it was nice to actually see the baby and know that everything is alright.

I have had some issues and thankfully my doctor sat and listened to me and made me feel a ton better. With each pregnancy I have had a huge rash under my arms that pretty much gets raw. It truly sucks. I got a prescription but it didn't really help completely. Thankfully, I decided to use Gold Bond lotion and even though it stings when I first put it on, it has cleared it up better than any dumb prescription stuff that I've used. I am also starting to have my usual huge headaches, and I got a lovely infection. Plus, I have been having these pains in my stomach which had me a little worried too. And for two weeks, I couldn't pee in the middle of the night. I would wake up with a full bladder but I couldn't get anything out. I would literally be pushing with all that I had and I might get a little bit out. I have to say it's very painful and frustrating to have a full bladder and not be able to do anything about it. This also happened with Jordyn but it only happened once and I was pretty big at the time. So this worried me being so early and it happening already. My doc gave me a referral to a urologist if it happens again! I hope that it doesn't but I doubt I will be that lucky. I am finally in my second trimester and I am ready to stop being nauseous, tired and for this baby to start cutting me some slack. My doc even talked to the baby while on ultrasound and said to take it easy on momma!! He also suggested that I get the H1N1 vaccine. I really didn't want to because I've heard bad things with it like miscarriage and stuff but my doc told me not to listen to all that crap. So, I'm going to think about it some more and if I decide to do it, it will be easy because my doc has them at his office. I guess it's pretty important for pregos to get it because he gets like 100 doses every week and health care workers aren't getting many of them at all. So, we will see. I just want this baby to stay healthy. And on a side note.....we get to find out what we are having in five weeks on November 30th!!! I can't wait!!

Thanks for sharing about your visit. I'm lame...I can't really tell how the baby is laying at this point. Maybe you can point it out a little more when I come over.....Glad you got a clean bill of health and feeling alittle better. I don't know what to say about the H1N1--it all seems so controversial! Prayer and Blessings....that is my recommendation at this point. We all want a beautiful, healthy baby...and I think you can trust your OB....I just don't know.

It was really cool to see the ultrasound. You could see the babies little arms and hands. It is a real baby! We are so excited! Kenna really worries about you. She doesn't really understand the, going to the doctor all the time, thing. She is truly scared that something is wrong with you. She kept saying "I want my sweet Mommy to be ok." She is such a sweetheart. You definitely need to get a blessing so you can start feeling better.

I love when things start feeling and seeming "real." I am sorry that things have been hard on you, and I hope that things look up soon!
