Somebody was ready to go to Grandma and Papa's and took over Makenna's chair. We have to drag him out of it every time we get in the car. He thinks it's his seat...lol! :)

Best Friends!!
Mr. Mahler has taken a liking to our Makenna!!
Poor Makenna never gets her bed to herself! Jordyn is always wanting to be on her bed. Most of the time it gets on her nerves and she tries to keep her off but every now and then I see this and it makes me so proud of what a good big sis Makenna is. She is so loving and it makes my heart burst!!

Silly doggy!
This new dog of ours has gotten very comfortable in our home. He really likes to sleep on the clean clothes that I put on the couch waiting to be folded or anywhere really. We found him sleeping like this! That is one silly doggy! :)

He loves his girls!!
Our new dog never had playmates in his old home! Well, he does now!! He loves his girls and they love to play with him (Jordyn loves to torment him). Lady is a princess and doesn't want to be bothered but Mahler loves to be involved in everything. I caught him climbing the stairs to get up to the trampoline today to play! It was so dang cute. It's nice to have a dog that wants to be playful and go for rides...not that we don't still love Lady. It's just different:)

Our newest addition to our family
Travis has been wanting another dog for awhile now. He would look at Craiglist all the time and show me all these adorable pics of cocker spaniels. I repeatedly said no. I didn't want to spend $150 for another dog (which is what people would ask for the 'rehoming' fee. And I didn't want to deal with training another dog when I had a new baby. But a couple of weeks ago, he came across a lady that was giving her cocker away free to a good home. I like free:) The couple was gone 18 hours a day and wanted him to have a family that would be able to give him more attention and love. Plus he was eight years old and already trained....another bonus!! So I agreed to go meet him at Sunset park. I wasn't saying yes to anything yet but I knew in the back of my mind that if we saw this dog that we would be taking him home. I was right. He was such a sweetie and before I knew it, we were driving home with him on my lap.
This pic is right after we got him and after a walk.
This is right after we got him cut:)
We named him Mahler because Trav loves the composer Gustav Mahler. There is a lot of cool trumpet in his music. I told him he could name this dog since I pretty much named Lady:)
He has been such a good boy! I really recommend getting an older dog. He is already house trained and knows what he needs to do. He is actually more of a dog than Lady is. Or should I say Princess Lady;) He loves the car, follows us everywhere (mostly Travis) and lays at our feet when we watch tv!! The only problem was that he wasn't fixed yet so we had to fork out some dough for that and he was humping my sibling's dogs. We took care of that Friday so hopefully that will be better this weekend.
This is right after we got him home after his surgery. Doesn't he look pathetic? :)
