Our 4th!!

Our whole 4th of July weekend was pretty much working on the shed. We have been so thankful to my parents for helping us out and taking a ton of their time!! We are getting a ton done! We got all showered and headed over to Grandma and Papa's house for dinner and fireworks. They barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs and of course potato salad!! Yum!!
We also watched the Nathan's hot dog eating contest. The girls couldn't figure out why they were eating so much. They were pretty grossed out by it:)

Then we hung outside until it started getting darker.
The sparklers came out!!! My girls never wanted to hold a sparkler this early but that must be the difference between boys and girls!! Aiden couldn't get enough of them!! He kept staring at them and he would shake it up and down. It was adorable!!
Jordyn finally held her first sparkler as well!! She made me hold it with her for the first couple of times and then she got braver! :)
Makenna is the complete opposite of Jordyn. She loves fireworks!! She couldn't get enough of them. She kept pointing her sparkler in the air and calling herself Hermoine!! :)
Boys crouching down to light a firework!!
Had to have another one:)

Look Mom!!!! Wow!!!

Jordyn did really well for about half of the night until my parent's neighbors started shooting off very loud illegal ones right over our heads. The remnants of them kept falling on us. It was finally too much for her and she just cried to go inside. Sounds just like her mommy when I was young:) Good thing fireworks are just as beautiful from the wonderful safety of your house!
Couldn't even stay awake long enough to get home:) We had a wonderful 4th!!

Just can't get enough of these little cuties! Love the holiday pix of Aiden and the girls. Wish we had been around to share the time.

Poor Jordyn was just like her mama was when you were little. You would rather watch the fireworks from inside the house also! They had a great tme! Aid looks like he's had enough. Good memories!
