We decided to build a shed in our backyard this summer!! My Dad built his and he and my Mom offered to come help so we decided to do it!! :) First step was to lay the foundation so off to Home Depot we went and got a bunch of concrete!! Then my parents came over and we set to work getting it done. This by far was the messiest part!
Aiden wasn't a fan of the wheel barrow:)
The area that we were putting it on was full of rocks and a fire pit. We had our porch swing over there as well so we had to haul a ton of rock from one end of the yard over to add to the other side with the kids swing set. That was a ton of work by itself. We wanted to move it over a bit too so we could put their play house next to it so we thought about getting rid off all that big rock. We didn't want them sliding into it and getting hurt. It was a ton more difficult than we thought though so we just made a little path where they would be sliding down with no rock! It works! I don't have a pic with the house next to it but it works really well! I wish we had done it awhile ago:)Once most of the rocks were cleared, we made a frame for the cement to go into.
CEMENT!!
We even put all of the kids' hands in it even if you can't see it with the shed on it:) We got a picture of it so we will always be able to see it!

I love the hand prints! Best part of the whole beginning!
