Two year stats

Jordyn had her two year check up today. We have been showing her 'Blue goes to the doctor' to get her ready for it but it didn't work that well. She is my shy girl and unfortunately had to have TWO doctors check her out. I love her doctor but lately, every time we go in, he has a student doctor there that has to do everything too. I honestly don't mind helping out but they really should ask us before we walk in the door if it's ok. If you ask me with the guy standing right there, I'm not going to say no. But my baby girl does not like strangers and then to make that a stranger that is doing all kinds of things to her!! She wasn't too happy. I also like to ask her doctor my questions so it would be nice if I could have some alone time with him and not with the guy shadowing everything!!! I asked the student guy something and he kind of gave me a not so good answer but I didn't feel like I could ask her doctor the same thing without making him feel bad. I know it's dumb but what are you going to do. And then once he was done, she had to do it all over again with her real doctor. But she is really healthy and he gave me some good advice with her eating and temper tantrums. Then it was time for shots!! There was a shortage of Hib when she was younger so she needed to get that and we ended up getting her flu shot as well. I really don't know why nurses do this but they all seem to stab the shot so dang hard into her chunky thighs. I know they want to do it fast but come on!!! I wasn't looking at the nurse when she did it but I could tell when she did it by the look on my daughter's face. It was so sad. You could tell it hurt really bad!! Thankfully a lollipop made it all better.

Her weight: 27 pounds 3 ounces (63th percentile)
Her height: 34 1/2 inches (60th percentile)
Her head: 19 inches (85 percentile)

So her weight is at a lower percentage and her height is at a higher one so she is good and proportionate. Of course, she has had a big head since the womb:)

Oh, poor little J.J. I hate it when they get sabatoged by the medics!! Not nice! Glad she is healthy and doing well. I will try to send you pix soon to post. Thanks for sharing. She is just as beautiful as ever!

She has a big head because she is so dang cute. Poor baby. You have to know that it doesn't take much to poke a baby with a needle. Your doctor never gave shots like that. One, two, three, pinch. Not one, two, three, jam it in my leg.
