Before school started, we visited daddy at work while he was getting things set up. Makenna absolutely loves this because she gets to play on the drums. She runs around like a crazy girl playing on everything. She especially loves to play on the drum set. She figured out how to do the bass drum with her foot last time and sat down and played like a pro.
Jordyn got to play as well. She was having a good time.
On a side note, Jordyn will probably be totally walking before her birthday. I didn't think she would be but she is always surprising me. She won't even be close to doing something and then all of a sudden, she will just do it. The last two days, she will stand up by the couch and just start walking until she either falls down or reaches something else that she can hang on to. If she catches you watching her, she will stop in the middle of her walk and stand and clap (we applaud her all the time for walking;). She gets so excited that she is doing it. It's so stinking adorable.

Since Travis doesn't have as many kids this year, how about having his girls go in and play for him. Makenna definitely has a musical ear. And she loves to play. J.J. can keep the beat. I think J. surprises herself when she starts to walk. We are clapping and she looks at us like "WHAT" and then smiles and claps. And that smile. Oh my goodness, what a cutie pie.
That looks like fun. So great when they start walking then they can climb.....My poor baby isn't even crawling yet!!
Who let her get big so fast?? I can't believe she is almost walking!! How fun and sad all at the same time!

I just noticed that JJ is exactly 3 months younger than Caedyn! Caedyn started walking right at 11 months. I wasn’t sure when she would start walking either (she just decided to one day). For a while there, I knew she *could* walk, but she could crawl faster – so she’d still crawl.
Too cute. And – I know I say it all of the time – but they do grow up way too fast. So unfair.
I think Makenna has a future there. She's a natural on those drums.
These little girls just amaze me!!
Makenna picks up 'learning' so fast and J. J. just makes me smile the way she is 'running' around the house without hardly trying...she just seemed to get up and start walking. Last night she almost stood up from the middle of the floor!! What a little cutie!
