Trip to the Temple

We decided to go up to the temple during Christmas break and walk around. The girls love going up there. This is an attempt at a cute pic with the temple in the background. I guess I didn't get as much of the temple as I thought I did:)

I love to see the temple

We took the girls to the temple last Saturday and took a few pics. They loved it! We hung out on the big lawn for awhile while they ran up and down the hill.

Our dream home. We watched this house get built gradually and it is just beautiful! It is right across the street from the temple. Nice view.

Makenna especially loved them. She couldn't quit smelling them.

We have been singing, "I love to see the temple" lately before bed and both my girls love to sing the song. Makenna loves to go walk around the temple. I think the little children can feel the spirit even from the outside. She cried and didn't want to leave when it was time to go. We had a great day and I think we need to go more often;)

I'm going to the temple!!

We needed to get some stuff at the distribution center so we took the opportunity to walk around the grounds of the temple as well. Makenna was totally excited even though she didn't even realize exactly where we were going. We drove by a random church and she asked if that was the temple. Oh no sweetie. The temple is much more beautiful. She loved the flowers and just wanted to run all over the place. Jordyn was content and just wanted to play with her toy attached to the stroller. Then when we were about to leave, Makenna holds her bum and exclaims, "I gotta go poooopooooo!!" Where in the world am I going to take her to the bathroom. We aren't exactly dressed for the temple so I see if there is a bathroom in the distribution center. She tells me to go inside the temple. I give her a look like, are you crazy, and she said it was ok. It was just inside the foyer. Well, I had a desperate kid on my hands so inside the temple we go. I haven't been for quite awhile since I have had a nursing baby attached to me and it reminded me of how much I miss it. I need to go soon. It's just so peaceful. We successfully go to the bathroom and on the way out miss Kenna sees the huge painting with Jesus in it. She yells "JESUS" and points to him. It was so cute. She really didn't want to leave. I had to promise that we would get slurpees on the way home to get her to leave;)
