Jordyn

My sweet little baby is growing up so fast. She finally got that tooth through!! Phew!! That one was a toughie. She now has her bottom left cuspid to complete the set and has a total of 16 teeth!!! I think that is all she has left until her two year old molars or at least I hope;)

She is growing so tall too even though I still call her shorty. She still drags her pant legs so I always have to roll them up. Her hair is getting so long too and it is looking to be curly like her sister's hair! Yay!

Miss Jordyn is getting over the bottle pretty well. We had a couple of bad times the first night and nap that she had without it but now she will only cry for like a minute and then she's done. She was waking up a little at night too but that is getting better as well (partly because I'm not going in unless she is screaming;) So not bad at all. I am having a hard time getting her to drink very much milk now out of her sippy cup but we are still trying. She absolutely loves to have her blanket with her in bed and snuggles up with it and loves how soft it is. It's so stinking adorable.

She is saying a lot of words!!! Just recently she wanted something that my dad was eating and she pointed to it and said 'bite'!! I can't even remember all that she is saying! She also babbles like crazy. If either one of us is on the phone, she wants it so she can talk to. And she will walk all around the room while she talks. (I don't know where she gets that from;) She even pauses in between like a conversation when she is talking on her fake phones. I need to get her babbling on video because it's so cute. She has her own little language. She will even read books to us and point.

J.J. loves, loves, loves dogs and animals. I think she might become a vet or something. She screams dog and points to it whenever she sees one while we are out or if she sees one on tv. Or anything that she sees actually. She gets very excited when that commercial with the dogs hanging out the windows of cars. We need to teach her the different names of animals though because she will even call the rats on 'Enchanted' dogs too;)

She loves her sister so much and wants to do everything she is doing. Makenna likes to take toys from her and she will make a fit at first but if you give her something else, she will be perfectly happy. I have a feeling though that she will start to protest that very soon and not be so willing to give up that certain toy (pink stroller;)

Jordyn is a very easy going baby girl and we just love her so much and are so happy that she came to our family.

I love it when....

My babies hold my hand. I love stroking their soft skin and sharing that special moment with them. I love it when Kenna laces her fingers through mine and when Jordyn wraps her tiny hand around my finger. I want to enjoy these moments because I know they will disappear all too quickly. Time speeds by and before I know it, they will be teenagers;( My big girl Makenna already talks like she is an adult and we are always in awe at what she says. She is such a love bug, always giving hugs and kisses and telling us that she loves us soooooo much!! And Jordyn just changes before us everyday. She got another tooth today. It's her sixth one, fourth one on the bottom to the right. (She is now starting to really use me as a teething ring) She is also starting to kiss us. At first she would just lean her head forward so that we could kiss her head but she is now giving us actual (baby open mouth) kisses. She has also started waving on the 25th and cruising on the 27th. She just hangs onto the couch and goes!! The stairs are a huge attraction to her as well. We have to put pillows all around the bottom of it to keep her from going up. We've done this back and forth thing where I put her down, she goes straight for the stairs. I pick her back up and put her back down where she belongs and it starts all over again. It gets very tiring after about five times so we hope the pillows work for awhile. She will be walking before we know it!!! My nephew just turned one and it seems like it was yesterday when he was born and I know that I'm going to blink and Jordyn will be one. Hopefully recording these memories will help me not be so sad when the days, weeks, and months go by in a blur.
