First bike ride....

....for Aiden!! He wasn't so sure at first! He had that white knuckle look to him.

But he really enjoyed being outside and in the fresh air! :) The girls enjoy the rides so hopefully Aiden will too so Mommy can get some exercise now that the weather is about to turn cooler!!

Makenna on two wheels!!

On Saturday, we took Makenna's training wheels off and let her ride on only two wheels. Travis ran over one of her training wheels anyway so we figured we might as well see how she does. She did really well for the first time!! She had a hard time turning and would just run right into the sidewalk but she did so much better the next time. She even got herself going by herself and then started turning around really well after only the second day!! It is so cool to see her so excited to go out and practice. She even says that in the video!! I can't believe I have such a big girl! :-)

First long bike ride!!

The weather was so nice the other day.....90 as a HIGH......that we had to enjoy the outside! We decided to go....no I pretty much demanded.....that we go on a family bike ride. Normally, I put both kids in the bike trailer when my mom and I go bike riding for exercise but we figured that Kenna could ride with us on her bike this time. She was so excited and did pretty good. She had a hard time staying by the sidewalk and almost ran into some cars because she didn't slow down enough when she was turning a corner but she did really well for the first time going outside our little culdesac!! I guess it's about time that we ventured off of our street but I get really paranoid about other people and their driving. Especially when it comes to my babies!! Unfortunately, people don't slow down when they see you and it really boggles my mind when I have a trailer behind me! That means there are kiddos in there people!!! Anyway, at least some people went slow for us. We even ventured across a major street and went and visited Grandma! It was getting dark though and we had Grandma drive the girls back while Travis and I rode back. I took her again the next day for a little bit around the neighborhood and she absolutely loved it!!! I think it will have to be a regular thing to do at night when the weather cools down permanently!!!
