Baby update

I had my weekly doctor's appointment today and got to have an ultrasound with it as well. They checked his weight to see if he is still a bit bigger. He has his head down which is great but he is facing up. So hopefully he will turn around before next week so it doesn't make my labor harder. He was also all curled up and holding his feet with his hands. So sweet. When she first measured his head, it only measured 36 weeks. My first thought was, "oh no!!" Jordyn had a big head and tummy and that's what got me induced early. So then she went on to his tummy and that measured almost 41 weeks but his femur only measured 36 (just like Jordyn's....wonder if I'm going to have another shorty;) When she calculated it all together, it just showed I was at 37 weeks or right on and that he weighed 7lbs 4oz. I just knew that I would have to wait another week to have my baby. But then the ultrasound tech decided to measure his head again. He was being difficult like always so it was really hard to get an accurate measurement. This time, his head measured in at over 40 weeks!! So he measured at 39 weeks that time with a weight of 8 lbs 2oz. I still didn't know if that would be enough though. Jordyn was estimated to be over 9lbs:) Thank goodness she wasn't. Anyway, I went in to my appointment with Dr. Swainston. He checked me and I'm dilated to a four!! WooHoo. Then he asked his assistant if we already had an appointment to get this baby out and she said yes. And he said, "Good....he's a big baby so if he's ready, let's get him out!!" Yay!! I was so happy that he didn't want me to change the induction date! So, I will go in the evening of the 13th if the amnio is all good that morning! One more week. So excited to see my baby boy but happy to have a week to still prepare for him to come. Well, I guess if I make it that far......;)
