I hate April Fools day!

There are definitely drawbacks to being a teacher. A couple of Travis' kids from FOUR years ago are still bugging us. We got toilet papered yet again for the fourth year in a row!!! They always do it on the weekend around April Fools day. It was funny the first time but every year since then has just been annoying. Travis even left that school and they are juniors now but they keep coming back! We were hoping that with our move that they wouldn't be able to find us but that didn't stop them either. It is one thing to just clean up toilet paper but they always make an atrocious mess! They always use that spray stuff and they made a mess all over our garage doors and all over my rose bushes. Ugh!! Fortunately, we caught them in the act this time!! They usually do it in the middle of the night but they decided to come about midnight. It was a good thing I was relaxing in the loft with a book and looked out when I heard some noises. I didn't look fast enough because they had already done the toilet papering and forked our lawn. Travis and I were quite a sight cleaning up our yard at midnight in our jammies. I was so mad. I went back to my book (mad because I now had to re-relax before I could go to sleep) and all of a sudden we both heard a THUNK!!! The dummies came back to finish the job (they had seen me peek out of the window before and ran off). I can't believe they weren't done because they had done a ton before. They wanted to also put cookies all over our windows and door. The thunk was one of the cookies falling. Travis ran out and caught them and hopefully this will be the last year that we have to deal with it!! Seriously!! Get a life or a new teacher to bug! He hasn't been their teacher for three years!!! We still have some toilet paper in our tree because it's so tall and we can't reach it. O-well......such is the life of living with a teacher;-} At least we weren't completely embarrassed this year and found it before our whole neighborhood had a chance to see it first;)
