Thanksgiving

It's so nice to be so close to both of our families. We were able to see both of them in the same day and enjoy their company. The dinners were so yummy! Unfortunately, the girls gradually went downhill as the day went on.
At first I just thought they were tired from the turkey and they have been waking up earlier than they usually do. This is the first time in a long time that Makenna fell asleep during the day:)

And it was Jordyn's normal nap time so I just figured J.J. was tired as well.

Because even the dogs were out:)

But after we left my family and were at Travis', the girls were still pretty lethargic. This is Jordyn enjoying a back massage from her cousin Leslie:)

Makenna really wanted to play with her cousins but kept coming back to me and snuggling!! That's when I know she doesn't feel good. She gets good and cuddly:) As the night wore on, they both started to get fevers at the same time! I can't believe how fast it came on. They had been playing with their cousins just a couple of hours before that and they ended up with yucky colds!! We have been covered in snot and have had some rough nights the last few nights but at least they are both getting it over with at the same time!! We are crossing our fingers that it is at the end and that Trav or I don't get it either:)
